Project Design Engineer
Are you passionate about engineering and eager to see your designs come to life? We are currently seeking a skilled Project Design Engineer to join our expanding team, where you will play a key role in the development of innovative cooling systems for our clients.
The Role
As a Project Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design of external piping systems in our client’s projects. Your main tasks will involve modeling pipes and pipe supports based on provided flow diagrams, specifications, and component lists. You will also review drawings produced by their international colleagues, prepare material lists, and manage the material in our business system. This role requires close collaboration with clients to coordinate piping installations with building structures and other supplier installations.
What You Will Do
- Design and model external piping systems using 3D modeling software.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of drawings from international colleagues.
- Prepare material lists and input them into the business system.
- Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the design process.

Requirements 🎓
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in design engineering.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling, ideally with experience in piping design.
- Experience with software such as Solid Edge/Solid Works CAD
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Bonus Points 🌈
- Experience in industries such as industrial cooling, water treatment, wastewater treatment, biogas, marine, oil and gas, or nuclear power.
- Practical understanding of manufacturing and installation processes.
- Previous experience working in a project-based environment.
