Automation System Engineer

The Role
As an Automation System Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the entire project lifecycle—from system design and drawing preparation to procurement, software development, commissioning, and verification. Your work will involve elements of project management, business acumen, and leadership, with opportunities to step into roles such as team lead or project sub-leader. The work is typically carried out in smaller teams, where you will engage closely with both internal and external stakeholders.
What You Will Do
- Design and integrate complex automation systems.
- Develop and update Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Participate in system commissioning and ensure proper verification.
- Collaborate in the development of technical documentation and drawings.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and share knowledge across teams.

Requirements 🎓
- A degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience working with complex systems in industries such as energy, nuclear power, oil & gas, or process industries.
- Proficiency in automation and PLC systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in team settings.
- Strong communication skills in both Swedish and English.
Bonus Points 🌈
- Knowledge of electrical design tools such as EPLAN or AVEVA.
- Familiarity with safety standards and requirements.
