Power Grid Integration Engineer – Specialty in Regulatory Compliance and Grid Codes

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Power Grid Integration Engineer with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and precise grid codes and technical requirements. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of renewable energy sources into the power grid while adhering to stringent regulatory standards and grid codes. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing our commitment to sustainable energy solutions and ensuring the reliability and stability of the grid.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Regulatory compliance: Stay abreast of national and international regulations related to power grid integration. Interpret and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements governing the integration of renewable energy sources.

Grid Codes and Technical Requirements: Possess in-depth knowledge of grid codes and technical requirements applicable to power systems. Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders to establish precise grid codes and technical standards for grid integration projects.

Project Planning and Design: Contribute to the planning and design phases of renewable energy projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory and grid code requirements. Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding grid integration strategies.

Compliance Monitoring: Develop and implement monitoring systems to track compliance with regulatory standards and grid codes throughout the project lifecycle. Regularly audit project activities to identify and rectify non-compliance issues.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical documentation, compliance reports, and regulatory submissions. Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and project partner

General consultancy:

• Advise Markbyggden Net Väst AB (MBNV) for the selection of requirements in MBNV network code(s), together with European one’s regulations (RfG), local regulations and specific connection requirements (SvK).

• Maintenance of the existing Grid code(s) means updating and comply with SvK requirements, or EU RFG changes if any.

• To be a technical advisor/expertise for MBNV for all external stakeholder issues.

• To be an internal expert counterpart to the Grid Solution Dept, which develops and realizes MBNV master controller of the grid controller (grid controller of output) e. Review MBNV's process according to compliance with RfG, and local regulations, for the connecting manufacturers.

As a person you are well structured, quality oriented and business minded. You are confident, forward thinking and likes to work in the different phases of development projects. To succeed in this role, we see that you have at least 5 years of experience in high-voltage projects within power grids.

You hold an academic degree within Electrical Engineering or another relevant field. It is important that you thrive in a communicative role and are fluent in both Swedish and English.
