Ecolean develops and manufactures innovative packaging systems for the dairy, beverage, and food industries. Ecolean's modern lightweight packaging combines high food safety and differentiation with lower environmental impact. Ecolean's packaging is currently available in 20 countries worldwide, with China, Vietnam, and Pakistan being the largest markets. Ecolean currently has 450 employees.

You have a proven track record of delivering personal, departmental and company goals. You have an inner drive and are a strong collaborator within and cross functions. You have experience of managing product offerings, value, and business propositions. You have the recipe and knowledge of how to gather and make transparent market trends incl competitor trends. You have delivered successful product to the markets and knows how to build internal and external understanding of equipment offerings.

Job Description:

• Product Strategy: Develop and implement product strategies for packaging equipment, aligning with company goals and market demands.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
• Product Development: Collaborate with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop new packaging equipment and improve existing products.
• Project Management: Manage product development projects from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
• Customer Engagement: Work closely with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and provide technical support during sales processes.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor product performance and customer feedback, using data to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Compliance: Ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive product documentation

Tasks:

• Manage Ecolean's product offerings for equipment, including supplier-designed equipment.
• Oversee product lifecycle management, including performance monitoring, development needs, launches, lifecycle planning, and end-of-life.
• Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring customer and consumer perspectives are integrated.
• Handle requirements management for new and existing products.
• Monitor market trends, legislative changes, and competitor benchmarking, and share insights.
• Support and educate the organization on product offerings, value propositions, and sales strategies.
• Assist the sales team in the equipment sales process.
• Responsible to understand and manage TCO for Ecolean lines

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in product management, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong business acumen.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with packaging equipment and technologies. Understanding of industry standards and regulations.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive product success.
